“Jewellery has been part of my family’s journey for generations. What began in India in the 1940s has grown into decades of experience, learning and a deep understanding of what jewellery means to the people who buy it.

I grew up surrounded by jewellery and the artisans, who made it. I remember seeing craftsmen create pieces by hand, long before much of the technology and machinery used in jewellery manufacturing today became common place.

Watching that process taught me something that has stayed with me — fine jewellery is not simply about the finished piece. It is about the skill, patience, detail and care that go into creating it.

Those early experiences gave me an appreciation for craftsmanship that I carry with me today. They also taught me that in jewellery, trust matters just as much as quality.

With NANDAZ, I wanted to carry that heritage forward in a way that feels right for today — combining our family’s experience with a modern online jewellery experience.
